Drought Tolerant Lawn

Seeded lawn of Creeping Red Fescue
Lawns grown from seed are more drought and disease resistant and adapted to specific site conditions than sodded lawns.
This lawn was seeded with Festuca rubra, Creeping Red Fescue, a cool season grass. It can be let to go dormant and brown if summer drought conditions warrant, and will green up again with the winter rains (or irrigation).
